New Year’s Resolutions

By Sara Simon

Another year, another opportunity to grow. With some new motivation all fueled up, here’s a sampling of the team’s 2014 resolutions:

  • Continue to build Software for Good’s user experience offerings with more rapid prototyping. (Evan)
  • Get better at RSpec. (Joe)
  • Bike more than 1,263 miles. And past November 20th. (Peter)
  • Eat more vegetables. (Shannon)
  • Speak at a conference. (Bobbilee)
  • Continue exploring LISPs. (Casey)
  • Beat Sara in chess. (Casey)
  • Refuse to let Casey beat me in chess. (Sara)
  • Learn more, do more, harder, better, faster, stronger. (Shannon)
  • PR my 13.1 time. (Casey)
  • Be more like Julia Child. (Bobbilee)
  • Take a motorcycle road trip. (Joe)
  • Floss more. (an embarrassingly high number of folks)
  • Become proficient at Javascript client-side frameworks such as AngularJS and Backbone. (Evan)
  • Buy my wife a dishwasher. (Casey)

One more from me? I’m officially starting evening coding classes this January! Here’s to having an entire office full of tutors.

Happy New Year!
