Where good ideas meet great potential.
The SfG Intern Cohort
We pair up-and-coming software engineers with mission-driven organizations to create lasting change.
Are you a local nonprofit, startup, or for-good organization looking to market your product or service, add new features to an existing platform, or grow your impact with a limited development budget?
Are you a local software engineering or digital design student or a recent development bootcamp graduate looking for hands-on experience and the chance to build your portfolio with meaningful work?
Our giving program was created for you.
How does it work?
Each semester, Software for Good pairs a small cohort of interns interested in software development with an organization seeking to use technology for positive social or environmental change.
Under the guidance of a dedicated program coordinator, interns partner with one another and the broader Software for Good team on a semester-long development project for the selected organization. The result? Hands-on development experience for the engineering team and steeply discounted professional software development for the organization.
The intern application window is currently closed, but organizations are welcome to apply for the next cohort (tentatively planned for Summer 2017).
