A New Site for Minnesota’s AdFed

By Sara Simon

Exciting news for the advertising community here in the Twin Cities!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new site for AdFed, the Advertising Federation of Minnesota.

The new site is the product of a three-way collaboration. Digital marketing, technology, and data agency Digitaria, formerly JWT Minneapolis, handled all things strategy, UX, and design. Here at Software for Good, we did the build.

What’s new about AdFed.org?

The redesign focused on bringing a modern feel, connectedness, and utility to the site. As AdFed President Alison George said, “The new site captures the energy and creativity of the community it represents.”

Most importantly for AdFed regulars, the site now uses a responsive design. This means that the site will be optimized exactly for the dimensions and features of your mobile, tablet, or desktop.

At Software for Good, we’re all about building great software for companies doing great things. AdFed’s a vital resource for the entire Twin Cities advertising community, and it is run entirely on volunteer support. That’s why we were excited to honor our Triple Bottom Line pledge of doing good things for our community by working pro bono on the AdFed site. It was also a pleasure to work with a local agency like Digitaria, where we were able to meet and work with some amazing local talent.

AdFed’s offshoot for members 32 and under, Ad 2, will be hosting a mixer next week to celebrate the site’s launch. Check out Ad 2’s page for more information. Rumor is food truck Cajun 2 Geaux will be parked out front.
