This week, we’re challenging everyone to say YES.
What’s the question, you ask? What exactly am I agreeing to here?
Anything. Everything!
So often, new or unexpected questions/requests/requirements drive us straight to the negative places in our brains:
I don’t know how to do that.
I don’t think it can be done.
There are a million reasons why that won’t work.
No is much easier to say. It’s less work and lower risk. But yes? Yes requires action, guts, and creative thinking.
Yes is where great things happen.
Don’t know how to do it? Say yes and learn.
Not sure it can be done? Say yes and find out.
Tried it before and there are a million proven reasons why it won’t work? Okay. Say “what can we do instead?”
Think bigger, friends. No one cares about what can’t be done. This week we’re asking ourselves what can be done. And then we’re doing it. If it fails…well, we’ll chalk it up to life experience and keep moving forward.
Are you with us?
(You know the right answer.)
