I recently faced an engineering challenge that left me at an impasse. One of the most difficult parts of this was the scale of it; I needed a lot of information at every point, and it became too difficult to acquire on my own. The other was realizing, and acknowledging, how much assistance I needed.
By seeking help, those feelings of being overwhelmed seemed to get smaller after every point. Eventually I was making progress again, and my stress got lighter.
Our connections are our best resource. This week, seek help when you need it, and allow those resources to benefit your work, self, and other connections. But this mindset only works bidirectionally, so be willing to help pull others out of their struggles in return.
