As humans, we have a tendency to dream and to worry about what we don’t have, and it can be easy to lose sight of the really wonderful things that are present in our lives. Many of us are lucky enough to have a job, access to clean water, and the freedom of knowing where our next meal will come from, but we often forget how fortunate we are to have those things.
This week, take a moment to appreciate the simple things in your life that you may have forgotten about. While it’s totally acceptable to daydream about a new car or an extravagant vacation, I encourage you to take some time to reflect on the things you’re thankful for in your life and to truly enjoy them. It’s a good way to check in with yourself and to incorporate some gratitude and positive energy into your week.
